1. Acceptance of Quotation

Acceptance of any quotation provided by Office Electrix Ltd constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Business.

2. Quotations

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotations are based upon information available at the time of issue.

Additional works requested by the customer or identified during the project may incur additional charges.

Any variations will be discussed and agreed before work proceeds where reasonably practicable.

3. Access

The customer shall provide safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas for the duration of the works.

4. Payment Terms

Domestic customers: Payment due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Commercial customers: Payment due within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

Office Electrix Ltd reserves the right to request deposits for larger projects or special-order materials.

5. Late Payments

Late payments may be subject to:

Statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation where applicable.

Recovery of reasonable debt collection and legal costs.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

Ensuring permissions and approvals are obtained where required.

Informing us of known defects or hazards.

Providing access to utilities where necessary.

7. Completion Times

Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed due to factors outside our control, including material shortages, weather conditions and third-party delays.

8. Warranty

Office Electrix Ltd provides a workmanship warranty of 12 months unless otherwise stated.

Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

9. Certification

Relevant electrical certification will be issued upon completion where required and once all outstanding balances have been settled.

10. Cancellation

Where applicable, consumers may have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

11. Liability

Our liability shall be limited to the value of the works undertaken except where prohibited by law.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Warranty & Guarantee Policy

Workmanship Guarantee

Office Electrix Ltd guarantees workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.

This guarantee covers defects arising directly from faulty workmanship.

Exclusions:

The guarantee does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, neglect or accidental damage.

Alterations carried out by third parties.

Equipment supplied by others.

Fair wear and tear.

Power surges, flooding, fire or other external events.

Manufacturer Warranties

Products installed by Office Electrix Ltd may carry separate manufacturer warranties which remain subject to the manufacturer's terms.

Claims

Customers must notify Office Electrix Ltd as soon as reasonably possible upon discovering any fault.

Complaints Procedure

Office Electrix Ltd aims to provide a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.

Step 2 – Investigation

We will investigate the complaint and aim to provide a full response within 14 working days.

Step 3 – Resolution

Where appropriate, we will:

Rectify defects.

Provide further explanation.

Agree a suitable resolution with the customer.

Step 4 – Escalation

If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties may consider mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods.
